Commbank | Safety
3D
Challenge
The brief called for chains wrapping around a phone in a way that communicated safety and security, without looking organic or creature-like. Getting that balance right meant the usual physics simulation approach would've been too unpredictable and the process too slow.
Process
I developed a custom tool that generates animated rippling chain links arrayed along a spline. This gave far more control over the final result than a physics simulation would have. With this tool, the motion could be precisely tuned, and the look was consistent and easy to adjust throughout the project.
Project Overview
Commbank needed a 3D animation to bring their safety features to life, across print, digital billboards and online. While the concept was clear, the execution had a tricky technical problem at its heart, and a standard simulation approach wasn't going to give us the control we needed, so I built a custom tool instead.

Woolworths | Bricks
3D
Challenge
The brief was simple, but the scale wasn't. There were multiple logos and formats, with the need to iterate quickly on style. Manual modelling and placement would've been too slow and too rigid, so I knew a smarter approach was needed.
Process
I developed a custom script that converts any 3D mesh into a Lego brick structure. Using a stacking algorithm, it places randomly selected brick sizes in a grid pattern, bottom to top, no gaps, with randomised orientations. I built in controls for stud sizing, procedural stacking animation, and image-texture-based colouring. The result gave the creative directors much more freedom to explore directions without waiting on manual revisions.
Alternate Logos
Project Overview
I was tasked to create animated and static 3D Lego brick versions of Woolworths' logos for their Bricks campaign. The assets were to be used across TV commercials, social media and print. With a tight deadline and minimal brief, I quickly realised that hand-modelling each logo wasn't going to work, so I built a procedural solution instead.

Salesforce | Tidal Pool
3D
Process
I modelled, rigged and animated the assets, which included fully rigged crabs. Along with fluid simulations for splashing crabs, whale tails slapping the water and diving dolphins that appear periodically across the screen. The underwater rocks were sculpted with custom texturing built to hold up across the varying display sizes required. While the fluid simulations added a layer of life to the scene without sacrificing control over timing or placement.
Challenge
The assets needed to composite convincingly into a finished visual world that my team had already created. Matching the lighting, style and feel of live action footage, while remaining flexible enough to scale and reposition across a wide range of screen sizes and resolutions was the real challenge.
Simulations
Project Overview
Salesforce needed a series of 3D assets integrated into an underwater scene for their lobby screens around the world. The work had to sit seamlessly inside an already-established visual style, blending with live action footage and existing visual effects.
Skills Used
Australian War Memorial | Midget Submarine
3D
Challenge
The inherited project files were large and disorganised, making iteration slow and render times impractical. Beyond the cleanup, additional elements needed to be modelled, rigged and textured to match an existing style grounded in real-world reference.
Renders (Sped up)
Process
I optimised and restructured the scene, UV unwrapped and textured a range of 3D models, and rendered two distinct visual styles — photorealistic and x-ray. I then produced enough frames to be re-timed and synced to the motion of the moving screen in the museum.
Project Overview
The Australian War Memorial requested a static 3D environment of the interior of a submarine, to be displayed on a motorised screen in front of a life-size replica of the actual vessel.

Souviners | Album Artwork
3D
Challenge
Because the album was recorded live, we wanted the visual language to reflect the performance itself. The assets needed to feel cohesive across very different formats, so establishing a strong visual motif early was essential to holding it all together.
Process
I developed a looping animation series to display across the LED screens during the live recording, built around a gem motif that ran through all of the media. That same motif became the hero of the album cover, used to depict holiness. Having that single visual thread meant every asset, from screens to print, belonged to the same 'story', and was designed to build on itself with every touchpoint.
Render Tests
Project Overview
For the album Holy is the Lord by Souvenirs Worship, I helped build a visual system that spanned the album cover, single covers, digital screens and online. The album was recorded live, so from the start, the goal was making every asset feel like it belonged to the same world, from the stage to the final print.

eHaus | The Gist
3D
Process

We were tasked to create an animated video to help eHaus explain the way that they build houses in line with the passive house standard. The Passive house standard is the highest quality in design and construction and following these principles when building a house is critical to maintaining that high standard. We decided that animating these principles in an abstract way was the best approach to make this information easy to understand for any potential client wanting to build their home. We used shape and colour to represent different elements of the construction process making it easy for the viewer to make important key connections while learning about the way a passive house is constructed.
Behind the Motion
Project Overview
The Gist is an explainer video for eHaus New Zealand, a buildling company focused on building high performing homes. 3D and 2D effects were used to create an abstract, fun and informative explainer.

Day/Night
3D
Challenge
The deadline was self-imposed, which, in some ways, made it harder. I needed to land on something simple enough to finish, but with enough craft in it to be worth making – so, the constraint became the brief.
Process
I leaned on core animation principles: anticipation; secondary motion; squash and stretch, to make a simple shape feel satisfying and alive. Getting those fundamentals right meant the piece didn't need to be complex to hold attention.
Project Overview
A self-imposed weekend challenge: to take a 3D looping animation from concept to completion, and use it to sharpen my conceptual thinking, scene composition, animation, shading and lighting, all at once.

Cerebral Fix | Splash Screen
Motion Design
Project Overview
I was tasked with creating a splash screen animation to play when a player loads any game that Cerebral Fix had worked on. It was such a fun challenge to take the 'Ceeb' character from CFix's Logo and bring life to each of the personas to help reflect their brand identity.
